How The Bio-Mat™ Works:

IMPORTANT: 

The Amethyst Bio-Mat™ has a top layer of amethyst crystal which is a conductor of Far Infrared heat. The Amethyst-Tourmaline Pillow has alternating sections of amethyst crystal and black or green tourmaline, because tourmaline is a natural conductor of negative ions. The cooling effect of negative ions bring a balance to the heat transfered by the amethyst crystal to keep your head cool while laying on the mat. 

The brain does not have the same capacity as the body to remove excess heat, as the blood system in the brain is very delicate. Because of this, it is important to keep the head cool while on the Amethyst Bio-Mat™. The amethyst crystal in the pillow will still transfer some heat to the muscles in the neck, shoulders and face, but will not be as hot as the mat because the tourmaline is transmitting the cooler negative ion energy. 

The Amethyst-Tourmaline Pillow comes with a curved double sided pillow (high and low side) and a zipper covering containing the amethyst-tourmaline crystals. You can use the crystal covering on any pillow. Use it as a seat cushion when working and driving to reduce fatigue, hip and joint pain, and to support the spine while in the seated position.
